Details

Within the first few verses of the Book of Mormon, readers are introduced to the world of the Bible with mention of Jews and Egyptians, the reign of Zedekiah, and prophets in Jerusalem. The biblical connections multiply with the the Book of Mormon's unabashed inclusion of lengthy passages found in Isaiah, Malachi, and Matthew.

Upon close examination, however, thousands of shorter allusions to the King James Bible emerge as well, revealing a stronger textual affinity between the Bible and the Book of Mormon than is commonly supposed.

This volume draws on the expertise and insights of sixteen specialists in ancient scripture who have carefully examined this affinity and related topics from a variety of vantage points.
Hard cover.
