Sylvie is an expert at pretending to be a vampire.

More kids at school would know that if they bothered to join her Monster LARPing (live action role playing) club. So when her father rejects her wishes to attend a Monster LARPing summer camp, Sylvie is heartbroken… until she comes up with a plan: she'll tell her dad she's attending another camp located nearby, and she'll sneak over to Monster Camp before it starts. Sylvie feels bad lying to her dad, but there's no way she's going to miss Monster Camp!

When Sylvie finally makes it to the Monster Campgrounds, she is in complete awe! It looks like something straight off a Hollywood lot! But when a fellow witch camper turns the obnoxious kid dressed like a werewolf into a Pomeranian for insulting her, she realizes… these kids aren't LARPing. These are real monsters, and Sylvie is a human amid blood-sucking, human-biting campers who would breathe fire if they knew the truth about her. Sylvie has no choice but to try to stick out camp by doing exactly what she does best- pretending to be a monster in the performance of her life.
