Details

Jan G. Otterstrom F. now 75 years after his birth in that World War II San Francisco blackout and having survived miraculously several near death medical setbacks to keep writing his daily observations on the process called life. Inspired and prompted on by his ancestors from behind the veil and admonitions of living prophets to keep journals.  Jan has been doing so since 1975 being encouraged by Spencer W. Kimball at that time.

He now lives in Costa Rica, Central America, in a small prosperous coffee growing area where there is a typical central park, getting daily exercise by routinely walking into town and spending some time in that central oasis. Otterstrom enjoys a large library, including the classics, modern literature, science, mathematics, French and Spanish literature as well.  He likes to think that he is some type of 21st century Renaissance Man.

This volume includes a prized work of his, the translation and commenting on of Paul Valéry’s “La Jeune Parque”, one of the most important French poems of the early 20th century.  Also lots of other poems, observations, rumination and testimonies that he is leaving first to his 11 children and a growing number of grand and great- grandchildren—over three dozen now.
