Amy's Song: A Glimpse of Heaven from Earth By Jo Ann Holm

On her ninth birthday - after experiencing weeks of headaches and double-vision - Amy Holm had a CAT scan performed at Minneapolis Children's Hospital. When she emerged minutes later, a nightmarish diagnosis was delivered to her parents.

A plum-sized tumor - likely malignant - was attached and growing on her brain stem. The year was 1989 and a diagnosis of medulloblastoma offered a poor survival rate in the 80's. A dreaded form of brain cancer had invaded a wonderful child. Fear strikes the family, and then one day Amy says, "I'm not afraid to die anymore, I will be going back to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus. They were my family first, I forgot, the Holy Ghost just told me."

Amy's Song is the true account of the year following diagnosis until her passing. It's an account of a child's faith, courage and triumph in unforeseen ways. The book written from journal excerpts by Amy's mother - describes heaven's role during her final year. Amy shares her fears dissipating by the whisperings of the Holy Ghost, the visits and comfort of angels, and before her death a personal witness of Jesus Christ as He personally shows her the WAY!

Amy's example and sharing of heaven's influence ripple through the decades, helping readers deal with their own sorrows and trials, life-threatening illness and losses of loved ones! Her song of faith and courage continues to reach through the veil in unusual ways, changing perspectives, lightening loads and enriching lives. Welcome to the swelling chorus of Amy's Song.
